Images on the Juilliard Manuscript Collection website were photographed by Ardon Bar Hama, Chief Photographer of the Center for Online Judaic Studies, who also has created the digital images of the Vatican’s Biblioteca Apostolica, the Dead Sea Scrolls in The Israel Museum in Jerusalem, Chicago Oriental Institute’s extra-biblical source, the Senachreb Prism,and numerous other religious artifacts. Juilliard’s images are his first music manuscript photos. Mr. Bar Hama photographs using a Leaf Aptus 75 digital camera that travels with accompanying computer equipment in suitcases comprising a ‘Rolling Studio.”
